As has been the tradition since 1988 — when the late John Haynes (BS ′56, DDS ′60, MA ′71) organized the first opening day outing — UMKC faculty, staff, students, alumni, and their families and friends turned out for the KC Royals’ opening-day game, Thursday, March 29, 2018. The faithful UMKC fans enjoyed a pre-game, parking lot picnic hosted by the UMKC Dental Alumni Association. Even though the Royals fell to the Chicago White Sox 14-7, the day was a big win for the UMKC contingent.  Enjoy pre-game photos.
