Friday began by welcoming MDC’s more than 3,000 attendees to the meeting. Day two of this four-day conference offered attendees 100 top-notch technical exhibits and a dozen Continuing Education sessions on topics ranging from office communication, insurance management and disaster preparedness to advances in endodontics and implant prosthetics. Students in dentistry, dental hygiene and master’s programs presented research posters in the afternoon — and some of them took a fitness challenge at a nearby exhibit hall booth. Luncheons for hygienists, the KDA and others provided more chances to connect, as did a special happy hour before the always-popular Friday-night Welcome Party. The Class of ’94 reunion was a big hit, along with several classes’ hospitality suites.  Find photos here from Friday events.
