UMKC Delegation Attends MDA Legislative Day

Four UMKC SOD faculty, two D4 and three D3 students, and two CMH pedo residents traveled to Jefferson City, Mo., Wednesday, Jan 25, 2017, to participate in the annual Missouri Dental Association (MDA) Legislative Day.
The delegation’s activities included meetings with majority and minority leadership in both legislative chambers, as well as a meeting with the governor’s office, and lunch for the attendees. The School of Dentistry, the MDA, the American Student Dental Association (ASDA), and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society (GKDS) partnered to support student participation with GKDS, which provided support for the chartered bus.
