UMKC School of Dentistry Alumni were ready to rock at this year’s Midwest Dental Conference. After being canceled in 2020 and held virtually in 2021, alumni, students and professional partners were more than ready to reconnect in person. The conference was held from April 21-24 and was filled with 35 educational sessions and 13 class reunions.

It was truly a wonderful mix of learning and celebrations, beginning with the Pouring From the Heart fundraising dinner on Thursday night and continuing with 70 top-notch technical exhibits and a welcome party on Friday. Saturday kicked off with more educational courses before the Alumni and Friends Recognition Luncheon. The evening wrapped up with the annual Presidents’ Reception, where donors were honored atop the Westin hotel. Sunday’s encore was the Dental Alumni Trustees’ and Alumni Past President’s breakfast before the nearly 2,700 attendees from 37 different states said their farewells.
