Applicants must:

• Submit evidence of graduation from a school of dentistry accredited by the American Dental Association or the Canadian Dental Association
• Be a citizen of the United States or a foreign national with a visa permitting permanent residence
• Have a minimum dental school 3.0 GPA and rank in the top 75% of their graduating class

Applicants to both the 4-yr and 6-yr OMS programs must take the CBSE exam offered twice a year through the applicant’s dental school.

• Applicants to the 4-yr OMS certificate program must earn a minimum score to be considered for an interview:
  • CBSE between 08-2019 to 02-2022: 3-Digit Score of 159 or higher
  • CBSE as of 02-2022: 2-Digit Score of 58 or higher (Total Equated Percent Correct)
  • Please be aware these are not equivalent exam ratings so exam outcomes between the 3-digit and 2-digit results are not meant to be compared.
• Applicants to the 6-yr OMS certificate plus MD program must earn a minimum score to be considered for an interview:
  • CBSE between 08-2019 to 02-2022: 3-Digit Score of 194 or higher
  • CBSE as of 02-2022: 2-Digit Score of 62 or higher (Total Equated Percent Correct)
  • Please be aware these are not equivalent exam ratings so exam outcomes between the 3-digit and 2-digit results are not meant to be compared.
