UMKC Interprofessional Education (IPE)

Date/Time
Date(s) - 09/07/2018
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Planning for the fall UMKC Interprofessional Education (IPE) activity is underway and we are now seeking your commitment to volunteer to serve as a role model and facilitator for our student IMPACT teams.  This is an excellent opportunity for you to get involved in serving our UMKC Health Sciences community and supporting the ongoing development of our future healthcare professionals!

The UMKC IPE Steering Committee and the Deans of the UMKC schools of health professions are seeking your support to make the IPE activities a success.  These educational opportunities allow for important interactions among students to learn about, from, and with other health care professionals so that they are prepared to provide patient care as a contributing member of an interprofessional team.

You do not have to be an expert or have participated in the IPE events before.  We are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing individuals to serve as facilitators for the IMPACT teams which consist of approximately 10 students of various health care disciplines.  Facilitator training sessions will be conducted prior to events so that you feel prepared for your duties and familiar with the content of the activity.  Your opportunity to participate is right around the corner!

We are looking forward to a strong representation from our schools, faculty, colleagues, friends, and alumni.  Please click on the link below to indicate your interest in serving as an IPE Facilitator.  Please share this link with your professional colleagues who may also be interested in getting involved and serving in this capacity.
