Dr. Rebeca Weisleder Urow is an Associate Professor at the department of Endodontics. She has been at UMKC since 2015. Graduated dental school from the Autonomous National University in Mexico City. After graduation, she did a preceptorship in endodontics at the University Of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. When she returned to Mexico City, she worked in private practice and became a professor at the Autonomous National University and the Universidad Tecnológica de México, teaching endodontics to undergraduates and graduate students. She obtained her endodontic certificate from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where she also taught at the undergraduate clinic. Obtained her master’s in Education curriculum and instruction from the University of Houston and a fellowship in Medical Education from the University of Texas at Houston. She was the director for pediatric endodontics in the department of pediatric dentistry and endodontics at UTHSC at Houston and past president of the Houston Academy of Endodontists. She has lectured nationally and internationally. Her interests are diagnosis, pediatric endodontics clinical research.
