Scholarships

Academic Scholar Award

One-time award from $5,000 up to $15,000 given to the top students within each dental class based on academic performance and professional and civic involvement.

Dean’s Nonresident Award

Awarded to select nonresident students who will contribute to excellence in our community. The renewable award waives from 50% up to 100% of the nonresident tuition cost annually for nonresident students who maintain a 2.75 GPA.

Oral Health Access Award

Recognizes and supports dental and dental hygiene students from disadvantaged backgrounds and who demonstrate a commitment to addressing oral health access.  Awards range from $6,000-$20,000.

Residency Discounts

A select number of residents from these states receive a waiver each year for the nonresident tuition differential through agreements:

• Hawaii
• Kansas
• New Mexico (WICHE)
• Arkansas (ARHEG)
