General Services

Appointments for the general clinic are available to the public by calling 816-235-2100. To make an appointment at the children's clinic, call 816-235-2145. The Dental Hygiene clinic can be reached by calling 816-235-2044.

Dental hygiene

Removing plaque and tartar above and below the gum line, fluoride treatments, sealants, teeth whitening, oral hygiene instructions, diet counseling and tobacco cessation.

Emergency care

Walk-in emergency care is available for patients in pain on a first-come, first-served basis at 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Please bring a valid, state-issued ID. If the address on your ID is not current, you must also bring a utility bill dated within the last 30 days. There is a $55 assessment fee plus the cost of treatment. Payment in-full is expected at the time of service. Only the patient, the patient's legal guardian, interpreter or caregiver, if applicable, can be present for the appointment.

Implants

Replacing missing teeth by anchoring a device to the bone.

Operative dentistry

Repairing decayed or broken teeth with composite plastics, silver amalgam and cast gold fillings.

Pediatric dentistry

Providing preventive dental care and basic and specialty oral care services, including fillings,sealants and space maintenance, for children.

Prosthodontics

Restoring broken or weak teeth with crowns, veneers, inlays and non-removable bridgework or replacing missing teeth and other oral structures when fixed bridgework is not an option.

Referral Services

To receive these services, your dental care provider must refer you to one of our advanced program clinics. 

All treatment is performed by licensed graduate dentists who are completing a residency in their advanced program. You will be charged a small fee for your first appointment, which is an evaluation to determine treatment and total cost, which is generally less than at a private clinic.

Endodontics

Diagnosing and treating facial pain through surgical and non-surgical treatment. Your dentist can arrange an appointment at our endodontics clinic by calling 816-235-5769.

Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics 

Correcting irregular tooth development and poorly aligned teeth with appliances such as braces. Your dentist can arrange an appointment at our orthododontics clinic by calling 816-235-2141.

Periodontics

Preventing and treating diseases of the gums, tissues and bone that surround and support teeth. Your dentist can arrange an appointment at our periododontics clinic by calling 816-235-2147.

Oral and maxillofacial radiology

Taking sophisticated images of the jaw, head or neck.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery

Extracting wisdom teeth and other procedures related to diseases, injuries and deformities of the mouth, face and head.

Oral pathology

Identifying and treating oral diseases through microscopic, laboratory and other diagnostic means.
