Biography

Christopher J. Van Ness, PhD, is a Research Associate Professor at the UMKC School of Dentistry where he is responsible for outcomes assessment. In addition to providing data collection, management, and analytic support at the Dental School, he also supports decision making by presenting to faculty groups regarding curricular outcome measures. He provides guest lectures on research design and biostatistics for first year dental students, as well as provides ad-hoc data analysis and database creation as needed by departments for assessment purposes.
