Jeffrey L. Primos, M.B.A.

Biography

Jeffrey L. Primos serves as the Assistant Dean of Business Affairs and Strategic Development at the School of Dentistry, where he provides strategic leadership and oversight of the school’s financial operations, facilities management, and long-term institutional planning. In this role, he ensures the alignment of operational excellence with the School’s academic mission and strategic goals.

Mr. Primos brings extensive experience in financial and organizational leadership, honed during his eleven-year tenure with Sprint. There, he was selected for the highly competitive Financial Management Development Program (FMDP), an elite executive training program for emerging leaders. His professional achievements at Sprint include multiple Sprint Excellence Awards and recognition for his exemplary leadership in advancing diversity and inclusion through the company’s employee resource groups.

Mr. Primos holds an MBA from Webster University and is a proud graduate of Grambling State University. He has further enhanced his academic leadership expertise through completion of the President’s Academic Leadership Program as well as the Henry W. Bloch School Strategic Leadership Program. At the national level, he has served as Chair of the ADEA Section on Business and Financial Administration, contributing to thought leadership and best practices in academic administration.

Committed to community engagement, Mr. Primos serves on the boards of several community organizations, advancing initiatives that promote financial literacy,  development of Kansas City’s eastside and violence prevention . His dedication to fostering opportunity and access extends beyond the university, reflecting a career-long commitment to leadership with impact.
