Biography
Dr. Beth Gehring is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology in 1989 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993, both from UMKC. A dedicated educator and clinician, Dr. Gehring serves on multiple dental school committees and participates actively in community service initiatives. In recognition of her commitment to lifelong learning and clinical excellence, she was recently honored with the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.
Prior to joining UMKC, Dr. Gehring owned and operated a private practice in Blue Springs, Missouri, for more than 20 years. She later provided dental services to children in the Independence, Missouri, school district through the ISP Mobile Dental Program. She also served as a faculty member and Staff Dentist at University Health Lakewood Dental Clinic, where she treated children and mentored residents in the General Practice Residency Program.
Dr. Gehring is passionate about helping young patients build positive dental experiences and is equally devoted to preparing the next generation of practitioners to deliver compassionate, high-quality dental care.
