The School of Dentistry welcomed its newest students, the DDS Class of 2021 and the DH Class of 2019 to day two of their orientation on Friday, August 18. They started the day with a pancake breakfast then a welcome from Dean Marsha Pyle. Dental Instruments were distributed and they had an opportunity to become better acquainted with resources at their disposal to support their success, then lunch with peer mentors. A highlight was an Overview of Dentistry, presented by Dr. Brett Ferguson. The day’s activates wrapped up with an afternoon ice cream social. The UMKC Dental Alumni Association will host the new students at a Royals baseball game and pre-game tailgate, Monday August 28. Enjoy photos from Friday’s activities.
