UMKC Health Sciences Deans’ and UMKC CEMT Host Dr. Dawn Cornelius

The UMKC Health Sciences Deans’ and the UMKC Center of Excellence in the Study of Dental and Musculoskeletal Tissues (CEMT) welcomed Dr. Dawn Cornelius, Professor, Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, Christopher S. Bond Life Sciences Center, University of Missouri, Columbia Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the UMKC School of Dentistry. Dr. Cornelius presented “A pillar of the community (effect): EPHA7 promotes myogenic differentiation via cell-cell contact”.  The seminar was a a part of an on-going series hosted monthly by the deans of the UMKC schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy and co-hosted this month by the CEMT Distinguished Lecturer Series.
