BRENDA BOHATY, D.D.S, PH.D., is a professor and chair of Pediatric Dentistry and director of the Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry at neighbor­ing Children’s Mercy Hospital. She also serves as a volunteer discipline director/ consultant for the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Dis­orders Training Program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. This program is an interdisciplinary training program that brings together the fields of audiology, speech therapy, nursing and others in an effort to provide opportunities to develop leadership skills in working with populations who are impacted by neurodevelop­mental and related disorders.
