Take Your Child to Work Day

Date/Time
Date(s) - 08/14
8:00 am - 2:00 pm

As the UMKC School of Dentistry was not able to directly participate in the national event in April because of our clinical environment, we have planned a “Take Your Child to Work Day” on Monday, August 14, 2017.

The SOD invites the children of our employees and students to join in the below activities.  Children and grandchildren of all ages are welcome to participate and must be supervised by their parents / grandparent at all times throughout the day.  Employees must seek approval and discuss limitations with their supervisors to ensure departmental guidelines / safety hazards are followed and proper coverage is met.  Employees wishing to take additional time beyond the events scheduled or need to leave work early to transport children need to discuss this with their supervisor and with approval may use accrued vacation or personal time to account for the additional time away from work.

All participants will need to register and aditionally complete a signed “Information and Consent Form” by Wednesday, August 9th.  The consent form requires a supervisor signature along with additional information about your child (name, age, emergency contact, etc.)  All completed forms must be turned in to the SOD Business Office (room 449 or umkcdentalbizoffice@umkc.edu.)
