Course Objectives
• Identification of hard and soft tissue landmarks
• Safe assembling and handling of the anesthesia armamentarium
• Procedures and precautions for the safe and effective delivery of anesthesia
• Indications and contraindications of various anesthetic agents
• Ability to recognize, manage, and prevent local and systemic complications
• Hands-on experience with maxillary and mandibular injection techniques
• Students will act as peer patients during lab portion of the course
• Course culminates in a written and practical examination
