JoAnna Scott is an Assistant Professor in Research & Graduate Programs in the School of Dentistry at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She received her MS in Mathematics from Missouri State University in 2001 and her MS in 2004 and PhD in 2008 from the University of Washington, both in biostatistics. She has worked on research projects in several areas including cardiovascular disease, infectious diseases, and oral health. She currently teaches Introduction to Biostatistics and Introduction to Research Methodology to UMKC SOD residents and assists SOD faculty on their research projects.
