Congratulations Karen Davis, First Place Winner in 2019 ADHA Research Competition

Congratulations to Karen Davis, B.S., R.D.H, winner of the Dentsply Sirona 2019 American Dental Hygienists’ Association research competition in Louisville, KY. Karen is a student in the Master of Science in Dental Hygiene Education program at UMKC School of Dentistry and her poster was titled “An Assessment of Graduate Level Dental Hygiene School Requirements Regarding Scholarly Inquiry and Research”. Mentoring and co-authors on the poster were Prof. Tanya Villalpando Mitchell, Director of the MS DH program, Dr. Cindy Amyot, Associate Dean, Distance Education and Faculty Development and Committee Chair (pictured with Karen and her poster) and Dr. Chris Van Ness, Director of Assessment.
