The UMKC Dental and Dental Hygienists’ Alumni Associations on Thursday welcomed 2019 Midwest Dental Conference attendees to the first of four days of meetings, reunions, celebrations, technical exhibits and scientific sessions at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel and Westin Hotel at Crown Center. Old friends and new met at registration and throughout the day, whether by chance between sessions or by design at planned meetings, breakfasts or lunches for the Dental Alumni and Rinehart Foundation, Kansas Dental Assocation, Fedi patrons and orthodontist groups. The conference’s wealth of Continuing Education offerings began, too, with four entertaining daylong sessions packed with expert information each focused on a specialty: periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery or pediatrics.
