Oral Pathology, Biopsy and Diagnostic Service

With decades of experience and substantial national recognition, the Oral Pathology faculty can be an invaluable diagnostic, clinical evaluation and patient management resource for all practitioners. The fee-based biopsy service begins by requesting a specimen kit. A report is prepared within 24 hours of receiving the specimen and faxed if requested. In cases that are malignant or the results are controversial, the contributor will be contacted by telephone. The service welcomes telephone consultations and the submission of “troublesome” radiographs for evaluation and consultation. Consultations are performed as a professional courtesy.
