Library Information Services

The Dental Library occupies a large portion of the third floor of the school. Its holdings include nearly 25,000 health science volumes and subscriptions to more than 380 periodicals specific to oral care. Dental library staff assist students, faculty and practitioners with literature searches and information retrieval. 

The Instructional Resources Library, housed in the Dental Library, is equipped with 37 PC workstations and 3 laser printers. It serves as both an “open lab” and multi-purpose teaching facility. The workstations have Internet and Intranet access and are loaded with the customary array of office applications including word processing, database, spreadsheet, graphics, statistical analysis programs as well as a variety of discipline specific educational applications. In addition, slide projectors and video/audio tape players are available to view the school's substantial media holdings.
