Orthodontics at UMKC School of Dentistry

UMKC Orthodontics has two divisions, an undergraduate division and a graduate division.

The undergraduate division is chaired bu Dr. Ingrid Reed, and is responsible for introducing the UMKC dental students to Orthodontics. The dental students have lectures, laboratory exercises and may treat some minor orthodontic problems.

The graduate division of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is chaired by Dr. Laura Iwasaki. This program is an intensive 30 month program designed to train Orthodontists. The program offers a Masters Degree, seminars and lectures on Orthodontics and an extensive clinical experience in Orthodontics.
