Dr. Veno
is a Research Associate in the Department of Oral
Biology and Assistant Clinical Professor in the
School of Medicine, Department of Pathology. Her main area of interest is in the interaction of breast cancer and bone cells that leads to increased metastasis and osteolytic lesions. Her current project is identifying proteins responsible for altered bone metastasis by analyzing the proteome of high versus low MMP9 expressing breast cancer clones.
