Dr. Bonewald is a Curators’ Professor and the Lee M. and William Lefkowitz Professor in the Department of Oral Biology with a joint appointment in the Department of Biological Sciences. She performs research in the area of bone and directs the Bone Biology Program. She is a member of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, American Society for Matrix Biology, and the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities.
