Am I eligible to be patient at the dental faculty practice?
Yes you are eligible to be a patient at the dental faculty practice. We accept patients of all ages who would like to be cared in a private practice setting by a UMKC School of Dentistry faculty. The UMKC students and employees find the Dental Faculty Practice to be convenient place to receive oral health care and bring their families too! Since the dental school is located in the downtown area it is easily accessible to downtown residents, office workers and many others who travel from the several parts of the states of Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas and parts of central mid-west.

Who will provide my dental care?
All Dental Faculty Practice patients receive dental care from dentists who are licensed faculty members of the UMKC School of Dentistry. The School of Dentistry also has student clinics where patients receive dental care exclusively from undergraduate and graduate students who are supervised by faculty. The student clinics are not part of the Dental Faculty Practice. Patients who receive treatment in the student clinics will not receive care simultaneously at DFP except under very specific, authorized circumstances.
