The Orthodontic Clinic and Residency Program

The Orthodontic residency program provides outstanding treatment and it’s staffed by graduate dentists enrolled in the 26 month Orthodontic Residency Program who are all committed to providing outstanding orthodontic treatment. They will soon move into a newly remodeled, state-of-the-art, clinic on the main clinical floor of the School of Dentistry.

INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS

Your Appointment:
To schedule an appointment for orthodontic treatment, a patient should be referred from a student doctor, faculty member in the School of Dentistry or a dentist from outside the School of Dentistry. However, patients will be seen when not referred by a professional. A screening appointment can be made by calling 816-235-2141.

The first appointment (screening appointment) will be for an examination to determine what, if any, treatment is required. There will be a nominal fee for this evaluation. Please allow ample time for travel and parking at the school of dentistry. There is a no charge parking lot for patients. Fees:
Orthodontic fees are less than those charged by area orthodontists. The credit rating of the patient’s parents will determine how the fees will be paid.
