| During the weekend
of April 30-May 1, 1999, the UMKC Dental Alumni Association
and the Office of Alumni and Development hosted a two-day
CE social event at the Inn of the Mountain Gods, a resort
area owned and operated by the Apache Indians near Ruidoso,
New Mexico. Dr. Dean Elledge, assistant director of
the UMKC AEGD program, was the invited presenter. Because
Dr. Elledge employs some slight of hand (magic tricks)
in his presentations, he has become famous for being
as entertaining as he is informative. Martha Yager,
director of alumni relations, hosted the evening social
event. Keigm Crook (D.D.S. ’83, PER ’90) played
an important lead role in the planning and coordination
of this event.
