were married August 18, 2001 , in St. Louis, Mo. Emily is currently practicing in Oak Grove, Mo. , and Jeff will complete his orthodontic residency in August, 2002.

Bryan Debowski (D.D.S. ’00)
Adana , Turkey
reports that the United States military has one permanent hospital in Asia close to the frontlines of the Afghanistan conflict. It is located at Incirlik AB in Adana, Turkey . Currently on the staff at the hospital are six dentists, three of whom are UMKC graduates:  Lt. Col John Kresin, dental commander (D.D.S. ’85), Major Luke Underhill , assistant dental commander (D.D.S. ’85), and Captain Bryan Debowski, staff general dentist (D.D.S. ’00).

Matt Niewald (D.D.S. ’01) and Kristen Schreiner (D.D.S. ’01)
Chillicothe , Mo.
married  in June 2001, moved to Chillicothe in July, and joined McCoy Dental Clinic. They opened a new office in October with grandfather (W.C. McCoy) and uncle (Rolfe C. McCoy). The office now includes three generations of dentists. Dr. Niewald is a member of the ADA , MDA and Northwest Dental Society.
