Wanted with DH Jubilee
The only thing missing from the
planning for the 50th anniversary celebration of the
UMKC Dental Hygiene Program in 2004 is YOU! The Jubilee
Celebration organizers want everyone to have a say and
a chance to participate in the event’s activities. Jubilee
Celebration activities are being planned to take place
primarily at and during the 2004 Midwest Dental Conference.
Time is running out, so step up, let your voice be heard
and get busy because you are the key to the success
of this momentous occasion.

Alumni Association Seeks Nominations
The UMKC Dental Hygienists’ Alumni
Association is seeking nominations for its slate of
annual recognition awards, which include:
• UMKC DHAA Outstanding Service Award
(restricted to UMKC DHAA members)
• UMKC Alumni Achievement Award (restricted to UMKC
DH graduates)
• Reaching Out for Excellence in Dental Health Award
(no alumni restrictions)
• Susan Brockmann Bell Humanitarian Award (no alumni
restrictions)
