Greetings from the ADA and the Local
Arrangements Committee for the ADA’s 142nd Annual Session
in Kansas City, Mo., Oct. 13–17. The ADA is excited
by the chance to enjoy Kansas City ’s Midwestern hospitality.
And our committee, which is made up almost entirely
of UMKC School of Dentistry alumni, couldn’t be more
excited by this opportunity to showcase our alma mater
and the city t serves. The Convention and Visitors Bureau
of Greater Kansas City is excited, too, because this
will be the largest professional meeting the city has
ever hosted. Stacy Bartlett, their director of convention
services, has been invaluable in helping us ensure that
this will be the best Annual Session ever. We’ve planned
plenty of fun for the entire family, and Kansas City
is a relatively inexpensive destination. So come as
a crowd. We hope that all UMKC alumni, and their families,
friends and coworkers, will come to the meeting and
help us show the rest of America that UMKC and KC are
great places to be.
See you in Kansas City !
