Pete Spalitto (D.D.S. ’00)
Fort Carson , Colo.
married his high school sweetheart, Susan, after graduation. The following month, he attended the Officer Basic Course with two other alumni, Scott Rankin and James White. The course was for the U.S. Army and took place in San Antonio , Texas , at Ft. Sam Houston. Susan and he are now living in Colorado Springs while he completes an AEGD at Fort Carson . His wife is two-thirds through her Ph.D program in counseling psychology from KU, and hopes to finish within two years. In October, Pete will be stationed in Korea for a year and then relocate in the States to finish his obligation. He hopes to return to Kansas City and join his father, Joseph P. Spalitto (D.D.S. ’72).
