Joseph P. Spalitto (D.D.S. '72),
Kansas City , Mo.
was recently recognized by the Council on ADA Sessions
and International Programs for his volunteer service
in a foreign country. He has also been appointed Clinical
Assistant Professor in Family Medicine, University of
Health Sciences .
Mary Lou Walsh (DH '76),
Florissant , Mo.
earned an M.A. in human resources training and development
from Webster University , St. Louis , in 1995. She was
awarded "Innovator of the Year" in 2001 by
the St. Louis Community College at Forest Park and the
League of Innovation for web-based technology to calibrate
clinical faculty. She crewed in the Greek Islands in
2000 with Tania Crebi, the youngest women to circumnavigate
the world solo. “Sailing,” she says, “was unbelievable!”
