Tom (Archie) Edwards, (D.D.S. '61),
Bentonville, Ark.
began his third semester as an associate instructor
in the Art Department of Northwest Arkansas Community
College in Bentonville in August. This past summer he
had a show of paintings and prints at the Walton Art
Center in Fayetteville , Ark. He has been invited to
build a large sculpture to be displayed at the Benini
Foundation on Rancio El Stelle near Austin , Texas .
He has scheduled a one-man show for summer 2002 at the
Art Center of the Ozarks in Springdale , Ark. , and
another in fall 2002 at Art Central in Carthage , Mo.
He is represented by the Blue Moon Gallery in Hot Springs
, and at the artists' outdoor sculpture park at Arkadia
Academy of Art.
F. Stanley Hall (D.D.S. '67),
Brookline Sta , Mo.
is the recipient of three fellowships: The International
College of Dentists, The International Congress of Oral
Implantology, and The American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
He also announces a new granddaughter, Olivia Christine
Hall, born August 23.
Kent L. (Zack) Taylor (D.D.S. '66),
Walnut Creek , Calif.
announces his retirement after 35 years of practicing
dentistry and oral surgery in the U.S. Navy and in Antioch
and Walnut Creek, Calif. Highlights of his career include:
Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, Phi Rho Chapter; oral surgery
residency at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oakland; commander
USN, retired; oral pathology instructor, Diablo Valley
College, dental hygiene; past president, Contra Costa
Dental Society; and president of the Board of Contra
Costa Childrens’ Dental Health Foundation. He is also
a pilot and restores antique airplanes.
