Classes of the 1940s

Virgil R. Johnson (D.D.S. '44)
Sun City , Ariz.
and his wife, Helen, have retired to Sun City.

Dr. and Mrs. Oren Ralston (D.D.S. ’39) at their home in Carthage, Mo.,
where he was presented with a Rinehart Medallion. The inspiration
for Dr. Ralston’s gift to the UMKC School of Dentistry was the
kindness of Dr. Roy Rinehart and Dr. Jack Dillon he experienced
as a student in 1938. “They treated me like a son,” says Dr. Ralston.
“Not only would I not have gotten in to the school without Dr. Rinehart’s
help, but his effort and that of Dr. Dillon to provide work in the lab, helped
me finance my dental education. I have always appreciated
what they did for me.”
