The orthodontic clinic provides treatment for children and adults. It is staffed by graduate dentists enrolled in the 30- month Orthodontic Residency Program, who are all committed to providing outstanding orthodontic treatment for their patients. They practice in a state-of-the-art clinic on the main floor of the School of Dentistry.

INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS
To schedule an appointment for orthodontic treatment, a patient should be referred from a student doctor, faculty member in the School of Dentistry or a dentist from outside the School of Dentistry. However, patients will be seen when not referred by a professional. A screening appointment can be made by calling (816) 235-2141.

The first appointment (screening appointment) will be for an examination to determine what, if any, treatment is required. There will be a nominal fee for this evaluation. Please allow ample time for travel and parking at the School of Dentistry. There is a no charge parking lot for patients. The parking lot is on the north side of the School of Dentistry. Fees
Orthodontic fees are generally less than those charged by area orthodontists. The credit rating of the patients will determine how the fees will be paid.

Treatment
Residents provide treatment in a "state-of-the-art" clinic and are closely supervised by faculty who are area orthodontists. The treatment results are comparable to cases treated by private practice orthodontist. For more information on fees and treatment procedures, click here
